The highlight of my day today was finding out about this. The first commercially available jet pack. It's going to be released in the next few months and will have a range of 10 miles. Although it retails for $226,000 dollars and runs on jet fuel the idea of being able to fly anywhere seems well worth it. In time Jet Pack International hopes to bring the price down considerably and make it a viable means of transportation and commuting. Between this, the iPhone, hybrid cars and commercial space travel it looks like the next 10 years are going to be a lot of fun.
