You might have noticed that there weren't too many updates on here today. Things were super busy. My day started with a bunch of running around and then I had to sort out all of these contracts.
After that I headed into NYC where I met up with my friends Lanelle and Stephen "Spliff" Hacker. Stephen runs a successful music production management agency. Any of you who bought/downloaded/have listened to Jay-Z's "American Gangster" album should look out for the song "Hello Brooklyn" which ended up on there as a result of Spliff. We started filming a promo video that Spliff is doing with Cam'ron and Duke DaGod. The weather was good so we got some shots up on the roof. Sorry for the poor quality of these video stills - the uncompressed HD footage looks unreal! Be on the lookout for this clip on MTV at some point in the new year.
After that we got some shots inside and wrapped up the first day of filming.
Spliff also holds a nice position with LRG clothing. He played a key role in getting the company to branch out from their skateboarding roots years ago. Check out the gold/diamond LRG pendant.
On my way out I got hooked up with this sick LRG bomber jacket. These don't come out until 2008 so I was pretty psyched not only to get a free jacket but one that isn't even in stores yet! It's a little tacky but hey the price was right and it keeps me warm.
Now I'm back. Regular updates will resume tomorrow.
