Mag wheels on retro style BMX bikes will go down as one of the biggest sports-related trends of 07/08. It seems like every company has their own version on the market and in many cases in the form of a dual brand collaboration. German brand We The People takes no prisoners with their latest collaboration the Yamamoto Y3.

Here's the scoop from the WTP website:

Because of our long history in bmx, Adidas asked us if we'd be into a collaboration with the Japanese designer Yamamoto. We looked at the scope and they gave us free run to create a bike that was totally ridable but with the old school look and unique Y3 features. The re-run of orange skyways was done exclusively for us. Details, right down to the unique Y3 grips were designed. Based on a complete 4season Pro.
