After some speculation as to what team Greg would land on after the folding of team Honda; Santa Cruz issued a press release today announcing the addition of Greg Minaar to their Syndicate team alongside DH heavy hitters Steve Peat and Nathan Rennie. It's great to see a company like Santa Cruz supporting such a serious team but it also makes you wonder how much longer they can afford run things as they are. Top tier DH Racers and the needed support don't come cheap.
At least for 2008 things seem to be very stable and you can bet there will be many Santa Cruz riders on top of the podiums at next years events."The Santa Cruz Syndicate is excited to welcome Greg Minnaar onto the Syndicate for the next two downhill racing seasons!
